Fried Salt Fish

Ingredients

½ lb. dried salt fish
2 tsp cooking oil
1 medium onion, sliced
1 green pepper
½ tsp black pepper
2 cloves garlic, finely chipped
1 small hot pepper
1 medium tomato, chopped

Preparation

  • Boil salt fish in water for 15 minutes.
  • Remove skin and bones and squeeze fish dry.
  • Flake fish.
  • Heat oil; saute onion and green pepper.
  • Add fish and seasonings.
  • Fry at medium heat.
  • Add tomatoes and fry until soft.
