Guava Pudding

Ingredients

3 eggs, separated
¾ pt milk
Sugar to taste
About 6 ripe guavas, sieved (or puréed in a food processor)
2 oz sugar for meringue

Preparation

  • Mix the egg yolks and milk together. Add the sugar and guavas. Cover with meringue made from the beaten egg whites and the 2 oz sugar.
  • Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) until brown.
