Chicken Adobo

Ingredients

1 cup white vinegar
1 head garlic, cloves peeled and crushed
½ tablespoon crushed cayenne pepper
3 bay leaves
¼ cup soya sauce
6 skinless chicken breast halves with bones
Cooked white rice

Preparation

  • In a large saucepan combine vinegar, garlic, pepper, bay leaves and soya sauce.
  • Add the chicken; marinate for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Cover, bring to a boil and simmer for 45 minutes.
  • Serve over rice.
